ARMM Board of Investments bags BSP’s award for regional development

COTABATO CITY, Maguindanao: The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Board of Investments (ARMM-BOI) has been awarded by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as “ARMM – Outstanding Partner in the Report for Regional Economic Development.” Lawyer Ishak Mastura, ARMM-BOI chairman, said he is thankful to the BSP for recognizing the role of the agency. He told The Manila Times that business investments in the region have been growing since 2013 as a result of the stability, engendered by the peace process in Mindanao with the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro between the Philippine government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). The award is given annually as the BSP’s way of expressing gratitude for the strong support it receives from partner institutions.
