COTABATO CITY: The Office of the Attorney General in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (OAG-ARMM) will offer free legal counseling to the public this Saturday, November 19, at the Office of the Regional Governor (ORG) compound in this city, while the regional Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD-ARMM) concluded last Friday its week-long exhibit on early childhood care and development. Lawyer Al-Rashid Balt of the OAG-ARMM said the lawyers will provide free counsel and advice to local residents as well as those from neighboring areas. The legal assistance, with theme Libreng Serbisyong Legal Handog para sa Bangsamoro, is one of the highlights of the ARMM’s 27th founding anniversary. The DSWD-ARMM, meanwhile, has concluded its week-long exhibit on early childhood care and development. Kay Lintongan, DSWD-ARMM Specialist on Child and Youth Welfare Program (CYWP), said aside from showcasing the inherent features of children’s development stages, the exhibit was aimed to provide parents and stakeholders helpful information on the key roles they play in developmental needs of children.
