MILITARY engineers will be deployed to help in the formidable challenged reconstruction and rehabilitation of areas in Zamboanga City affected by the three-week conflict between government forces and members of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).
Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin, in a speech before members of the 51st Engineer Brigade, said that Army engineers are now “confronted with a formidable challenge” of helping restore the affected areas of the recent MNLF siege.
