LUBAO, Pampanga: Detained former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo cast her vote Monday morning at her hometown here. She arrived at about 9 a.m. at Lubao East Central Elementary School in the village of San Nicolas I. From her car, a smiling Arroyo walked and waved to her cabalens (province mates) to polling precinct 0001A where she is listed No. 67 among the 176 registered voters. Some villagers kissed the hand and embraced the congresswoman of Pampanga’s second district who is running unopposed on her third and last term. Arroyo wore a neck brace and looked slim. Former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo and son Micky joined her in Lubao, but only seen voting with the former President in the same polling precinct was her husband. Arroyo took some time to fill-up her ballot with close aides hiding her from the cameras. She refused to give any message, saying bawal (prohibited).
