In time for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) Pride Month, NCCA Gallery unveiled Palma Tayona’s solo exhibit, “Reyna Elena, Libertad and Other Stories” on June 13 at the NCCA Gallery in Intramuros, Manila.

On view until June 30, the exhibit explores the realities of the Filipino gay community in the context of socio-political history, their role in leadership, the community, and the socio-cultural web of human relationships, as well their continuing struggles as a minority.
