As they keep a close eye on the region’s top business leaders who deserve recognition for nurturing the economy and providing employment in their respective countries, the Asia CEO Awards is all set to spotlight two of the Philippines’ most prominent entertainers on their grand event in October.
Richard Mills, Chairman of Asia CEO Awards 2016, proudly shared with The Manila Times that the Filipino front man of iconic rock band journey, Arnel Pineda and the Filipina second runner-up of the first season of Asia’s Got Talent have accepted their invitation to perform at the culmination of the annual search.
Recognizing that both artists espouse the very same principles of hard work and dedication in their careers, which the region’s top CEOs possess, Mills said, “Arnel Pineda didn’t stop believin’ [in his dream]… and will perform at this year’s huge celebration of excellence and contribution to the nation.”
As part of Journey, Pineda has taken the talent of the Filipino to the international arena, having played at the Super Bowl, MGM and numerous other famed venues around the world.
“Any way you want it, we are glad to welcome him to the event,” added Mills.
Of the award’s invited lady performer, “We also welcome star of Asia’s Got Talent, Gerphil Flores who is also called ‘Asia’s New Superstar’.”
Flores, who is gifted with the voice for classical music, is currently busy taking part in the renowned David Foster and Friends Asian tour.
“See them both at Asia CEO Awards 2016,” enthused the award’s chairperson, who further detailed that the grand event will take place on October 18 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom.
