ASIA United Leasing and Finance Corp. (AULFC), a subsidiary of Asia United Bank (AUB), has announced a leasing program for BMW vehicles.
AULFC said it offers the “country’s first full-maintenance operating lease” for luxury vehicles, noting that the lease on BMWs was made possible through an exclusive partnership between AUB and Asian Carmakers Corp., exclusive distributor of BMW in the Philippines.
AULFC said a typical full-maintenance lease on a BMW 318d can go for as low as P58,730 a month (under the BMW Flexilease arrangement), with a deposit of 10 percent on the vehicle price. The deal is cancellable at any time so units can be swapped for the latest models as they come, according to the bank. Other benefits are customers not having to pay for registration, insurance and maintenance.
“It frees those who wish to drive a BMW from the cost of acquiring and maintaining one, as well as avoiding the steep depreciation associated with brand-new vehicles,” said AULFC President Aristides Armas. “Since the vehicle will remain registered with us, it also offers a certain level of security for high net-worth individuals who wish to remain discreet.”
