ATENEO De Manila University soundly beat University of the East (UE), 25-7, 25-17, 25-8, to post its sixth straight win in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 77 women's volleyball tournament on Saturday at The Arena in San Juan City.
Alyssa Valdez finished with 23 points with two blocks, while Amy Ahomiro and Michelle Morente made 10 points apiece for the Lady Blue Eagles. Ateneo will face De La Salle University today at the end of the elimination round at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
