State-run Clark Development Corp. (CDC) has signed a lease agreement with Hubble Multi Sport Inc. (HMI) for an “athletes’ hub” to rise in the Clark Freeport Zone.
In a statement, CDC said HMI noted the construction of a 442-square meter hub to promote tourism for local and foreign athletes and visitors with active lifestyles.
The hub will rise near the freeport’s restaurant strip. The facility will provide an open environment for athletes to share their knowledge and experiences to fellow and aspiring athletes.
CDC said HMI will also sell sporting goods and supplies on wholesale or retail basis, and coordinate with the Tourism Promotions Department to organize monthly sports activities in the freeport area.
HMI is composed of local young professionals and businessmen who are also athletes involved in triathlon for the past 8 years. Its officers are Alan Galang as president, Marvin Manalang as vice president, Rene Ricardo Tayag as treasurer, Michael Mandap as auditor, and Julian Paolo Tayag as corporate secretary.
