The Audi A3 is the first sporty sedan in the luxury compact segment voted as the World Car of the Year. The dynamic four-door car offers all of the strengths of the A3 model series –thanks to its lightweight design, powerful and highly efficient engines and high-end solutions for infotainment as well as driver assistance systems.
The design of the 446-centimeter long Audi A3 Sedan combines the classic three-box concept with the dynamics of a coupe. The flat roof ends in a C-pillar that flows smoothly into the shoulder of the body. The tornado-line forms a stark shadow contour, and the fenders are strongly flared. The large, 425-liter trunk can be expanded by folding down the rear seat-backs.
Audi supplies the A3 Sedan with powerful TFSI and TDI engines. They displace 1.8 or 2.0 liters and produce between 125 hp and 180 hp. Completely redesigned, the engines bring together efficiency technologies from Audi – direct fuel injection, turbocharging, and innovative thermal management.
The chassis of the Audi A3 provides for sporty driving pleasure with good comfort and supreme stability. The sensitive power-steering system features an electro-mechanical drive for high efficiency. In front-wheel drive models, the electronic stabilization control (ESC) includes the electronic limited slip differential to make handling even smoother and safer at the vehicle’s cornering limit. With the optional Audi drive select system (standard with the Ambition trim line), the driver can vary steering boost and the characteristics for the accelerator and the S tronic in multiple stages.
Audi offers the A3 family in the trim lines Attraction, Ambition and Ambiente. In addition, many sporty and convenient options are offered, including adaptive light and a panoramic glass sunroof.
The Audi A3 offers the Multimedia Interface navigation plus with MMI touch into the cockpit. The Audi phone box connects cell phones to the car in a convenient way. Meanwhile, the sound system from the Audi music interface offers pure enjoyment.
