AUDI Phils. and Audi AG, which earlier this year had staged in the country the Audi Driving Experience (ADE), is highlighting the high-performance capabilities of one of the brand’s most sporty models through Christoph Klapper, an Audi Certified Driver.

Klapper, who started working in ADE in 1991 and completed the Audi Instructors Training in 2005, is now an expert on Audi models, including the new RS4 Avant. During the local staging of the ADE, the German driver showed off the capabilities of the Audi A4’s high-performance wagon variant at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga.

“The RS4 is a very sporty and aggressive car to drive yet is very stable, thanks to its quattro all-wheel drive system. I can easily do different maneuvers on the racetrack with all the speed and power that I want, but with assurance that the car is always tightly gripped on the road. It’s really one of the best Audi cars I’ve ever driven,” Klapper said.

According to Audi, its models that carry the RS badge are its sportiest. The RS4 Avant, which combines tremendous power with practicality, has a 4.2-liter V8 engine that puts out 450hp and 430Nm of torque, helped in part by a fuel stratified injection system. The car can sprint from rest to 100kph in 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 250kph. But despite its power and speed, Audi said the car’s fuel consumption is rated at 9.35 km/l.
