EARLY poll results of the 2014-2015 Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards (AFPCA) show new vehicles leading top-selling models and most of last year’s winners in the run for Model and Automobile of the Year honors in the Standard and Luxury categories.
According to AFPCA organizer Sunshine Television (STV), the only winner from last year that is holding up well in the Standard category is the Ford Explorer (Large SUV). In the Luxury category, only two from last year’s winners—the BMW X5 (Midsize SUV) and the Audi Q3 (Open Class)—have found their way on top of the standings this year.
