AXA Philippines has pioneered the first online system for corporate insurance accounts in the Philippines called Group Management Solutions (GMS).
In a statement, the insurer described GMS as the first of its kind in the country for group insurance accounts, and aims to provide organizations, human resource managers and administrators with an interface that makes managing and monitoring information easier.
“The Group Management Solutions is the first application of its kind in the Philippines for group insurance accounts,” said Vic Tanjuakio, head of Corporate Solutions for AXA.
The insurer noted that GMS allows human resource managers to view their employees’ insurance records, enroll new members, and download files such as the company’s most current employee masterlist, payment history and underwriting requirements.
The application also includes features such as eBilling, eReceipting, and eCertificates, which would help human resource departments reduce the time spent on administration as well as the amount of paperwork involved in enrolling and updating employee information.
With GMS, employees can also easily update their own contact information and indicate their intended beneficiaries for their insurance benefits.
“We are looking at opening up the service for more online transactions, providing our customers with a chat service for consultation, and even allowing companies to view their employees’ medical results online,” Tanjuakio added.
