THE reopening of the Ayala bridge in Manila will be delayed because its rehabilitation will only be finished two days before Christmas Day, or on December 23, 2015.
On Sunday, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) again closed the bridge upon the proposal of its project consultant, Freyssinet International Manila Inc., which suggested that the pavement be further improved to ensure the integrity of the bridge.
