BACOLOD CITY: The National Solid Waste Management Commission (NSWMC) has approved the 10-year SWM Plan of Bacolod for the period 2015-2024.
Mayor Monico Puentevella of Bacolod City received a letter from NSWMC officer-in-charge Executive Director Eligio Ildefonso stating that the approval will enable Bacolod as a local government unit to implement “efficient management of solid wastes” within its jurisdiction.
