Four flights were cancelled on Friday morning due to bad weather brought by tropical storm “Kabayan”, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said in an advisory as of 8 am.
MIAA said that among flights cancelled include 2P 2051 (Manila-Caticlan), and 2052 (Caticlan-Manila).
These flights belong to PAL Express.
Also cancelled were flights DG 6227 (Manila-Caticlan) and 6228 (Caticlan-Manila).
These flights belong to CebGo also known as TigerAir.
State-run weather bureau PAGASA earlier predicted stormy weather over the provinces of Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Benguet, La Union and Pangasinan.
Meanwhile, rains with gusty winds will prevail over Metro Manila, rest of Central Luzon and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Isabela, Rizal and Quezon.
There will also be moderate to occasionally heavy rains over the provinces of Cavite, Laguna and Batangas, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains over Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms over the rest of the country. PNA
