    Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad portray teen parents who deal with the consequences of impulsive decisions

    ABS-CBN teen stars Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad have proven their draw as the pilot episode of their first primetime drama series Bagito premiered strong in national TV ratings.

    Based on data from Kantar Media on November 17, the pilot episode topped national TV ratings at 27.2 percent. The series, which is based on hit Wattpad novel written by Noreen Capili, narrates the story of Drew (Nash), a teenager forced to face the responsibilities of being a young father after accidentally getting his girlfriend pregnant.

    Moreover, the show became a worldwide trending topic via social networking sites such as Twitter the official hashtag #Bagito1stCrush shot to the top.

    According to Nash, he believes that Bagito will play a significant role in helping the youth make better choices and decisions rather than become impulsive in relationships.

    “Bagito was created to teach and help kids and their parents become aware of what is really happening among the youth nowadays,” he elaborated.

    “Viewers should watch Drew’s journey because families, especially those of teenagers like us, will learn and realize the consequences that we have to face when we make serious mistakes,” added Alexa.

    Besides the young acting tandem, completing the powerhouse cast of Bagito are fellow teen star Ella Cruz and veteran actors Agot Isidro,Ariel Rivera, and Angel Aquino. Also featured in the series are Paolo Santiago, Alex Diaz, and the members of the fast rising boy group Gimme 5, namely Joaquin Reyes, John Bermundo, Grae Fernandez, and Brace Arquia.

    Co-directed by Onat Diaz and Jojo Saguin Bagito is produced for ABS-CBN by Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the same group behind top-rating TV masterpieces such as Walang Hanggan, Ina Kapatid Anak, Juan dela Cruz, and Ikaw Lamang.

    The show airs weeknights after TV Patrol on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
