Baguio City air ‘breathable’

BAGUIO CITY: Air in this City of Pines is “breathable,” tests conducted by the City Environment and Parks Management Office-Wastewater, Water Ambient Air Management Division (WWAMD) showed recently. WWAMD head Moises Lozano said air monitored in September at the Veterans’ Park along Harrison Road and Happy Homes and Old Lucban Barangay Hall were deemed “fair.” Results for air monitoring at the Social Welfare and Development Office grounds were even better and rated “good.” In August, aerial particulate materials machine readings near the Baguio City Police Office and the University of the Philippines-Baguio City campus turned out to be “fair.” “Good” and “fair” readings pose no restriction to the city’s citizens.
