Colder temperature is expected in Baguio City early this week because of the northeast monsoon or “amihan” affecting Luzon.
The temperature will likely hover between 10°C and 18°C on Monday and Tuesday, down from 11°C to 19°C on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported Sunday.
PAGASA said it is expected that Baguio’s temperature to slightly rise between 11°C and 19°C on Wednesday.
But the temperature will be between 10°C and 20°C on Thursday.
Amihan affects the country’s eastern sections from October to late March.
