BAGUIO CITY: Mayor Mauricio Domogan reconstituted the monitoring team in charge of ensuring compliance with the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) of 2007. With him as chairman, the team is composed of the city human resource management officer as vice chair and action officer. Members include the city administrator, city engineer, city general services officer, city assessor, city treasurer and city building officer. The team will conduct on-the-spot checks of all departments for compliance with ARTA requirements, such as posting of citizen’s charter, anti-fixer campaign, no noon break policy, wearing of identification cards and the provision of public assistance and complaints desk. The move is in line with the ARTA watch mechanism adopted by the Civil Service Commission.
