Baguio gallery welcomes Manila-based artists


OMEGA-3Baguio City: Tam-Awan Village once again welcomed Omega, a Manila-based artists group, for the opening of its annual exhibit at the gallery. Dubbed Open, it features artists Renz Baluyot, Francis Commeyne, Katz Lorenzana, Tekla Tamoria, Lou Lim, Cian Dayrit, Francis Pado, JC Jacinto, Jhay Colis, Janea Balquin and Lec Cruz.

Omega, started its partnership with Tam-Awan Village almost a decade ago. As a student art group from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, Omega sojourned to the city to share its art.

This year, over 25 artworks in different media and forms from the 11 artists will be displayed, resulting to an uncontained and diverse exhibit.

The collection promises to be a candid experience for the audience with every artist bringing in a unique approach. To communicate with viewers, each distinct piece evokes sincerity and at the same time experimentation.

The convergence of the artists and their individual styles is a celebration of each of their diversity and an openness to explore each of their chosen media.

The Tam-Awan Village continues to encourage other guest artists from all over the country to display their works at the gallery, which     aims to serves as venue for artistic expression.

Open runs running until November 1.
