• Baguio’s Shabu-trading brothers nabbed


    BAGUIO CITY: Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives in the Cordillera and local policemen have arrested brothers – Aprillo and Benjamin Lagman Jr., recently after selling P3,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust along Asin Road here. Aprillo alias “Apeng” and “April,” of Balsigan and his brother Benjamin Jr. alias “Benjie”, of Asin Road, were found with four more sachets of shabu. Meanwhile, PDEA–Cordillera chief Edgar Apalla said with the government’s all-out drug war, shabu business here is making a killing that others have shifted to marijuana use. Apalla claimed a quarter gram of shabu is now pegged at P5,000 to 7,500.
