Just like his predecessor, Benigno Aquino 3rd, President Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte chose Bahay Pangarap as his official residence.

Duterte’s top aide, Christopher Go, said Duterte will move in next week.

The Bahay Pangarap is located at the headquarters of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) across the Pasig River from Malacañang Palace, the office of the President.

Built in the 1930s, Bahay Pangarap was designed by architect Juan Arellano. It already underwent a number of renovations, with the recent one led by architect Conrad Onglao in 2008.

The house was used by former presidents Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to welcome special guests. It has a swimming pool and a garden.

Duterte earlier said he will not be living in Malacañang because he believes it is haunted by ghosts.

Once in a lifetime a man is chosen by the almighty to save his people from themselves. May that man in our lifetime be the President Elect Robredo Duterte. May the good Lord Bless you and Keep you from all harms Mr. President.

The only other time that a president has the full backing of the people to do whatever she wanted was when Corazon Aquino became president. Unfortunately, she allowed her “spirituality” get on the way of becoming an effective leader and the Philippines stagnate under her watch. Other than having step in and took over Marcos she has not done anything to alleviate the condition of her countrymen.

Mr. President, you are it. You have the people behind you like they never have given to any of your predecessors. Good luck in everything that you plan to accomplish for your country..

      • Sir, it’s Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.

        Madame Robredo is our VP.

        Merry mix-up. Nagka-salisi lang.

Better have the place thoroughly deodorized, fumigated exorcised and blessed first pls Mr. President before you step inside it. Who knows what evil and vermin leftovers from past occupants especially the latest one lurk in its nooks and cranies.

Would he cross the river by boat? Or a helicopter would do the job?
Commuting entails lots of risks. Pasig River is a troubled water.

    4. Duda naman….be optimistic. And reminder, everybody commit mistakes. As long as the 16m who voted for DU30 were behind his back or will still support him…the take over is so-so pure imagination. For now just work and support the new chosen one. Be a true Filipino. God bless Pilipinas

    5. May the Almighty Lord guide and protect you 24/7.Always verify before you fully trust everyone around you.because many reports are noted , that those pretentious turncoaters are just waiting for you to make mistakes. so Robredo will take over (esp. those who wants to retain their control of the country-by the few rich elites) at the expense of many poor Filipinos -who had spoken thru their votes and elected you hoping for change ..
