The 10 policemen – former Chief Insp. Joseph de Vera, former Senior Inspectors Allan Emlano and Oliver Villanueva, ex-Inspector Marco Polo Estrera, ex-Senior Police Officer 1 Ramil Hachero and former Police Officers 2 Jonathan Rodriguez, Jerome Datinguinoo, Mark de Paz, Ebonn Decatoria and Weavin Masa – were charged with kidnapping and serious illegal detention for illegally arresting Gafur and Mama and extorting P1.2 million from them.
