CALAMBA CITY, Laguna: A teller of the Philippine National Bank (PNB) in Calamba Poblacion branch is facing charges for theft, qualified theft and forgery for allegedly withdrawing P42,000 from the account of a 71-year-old Social Security System (SSS) pensioner.
Supt. Sancho Celedio, officer-in-charge of Calamba City Police Station, identified the suspect as Sheila Varona, PNB new accounts clerk.
