Banned insect spray confiscated in Divisoria


Joint agents of the Manila Health Department and the EcoWaste Coalition on Thursday morning confiscated banned insect spray being sold in malls in Divisoria district in Manila. The said items were not registered at the Food and Drug Administration. The group confiscated six boxes of insect spray, which have been banned since 2013 after they were found to be harmful, toxic, and dangerous to both humans and animals. Clemente San Gabriel Jr., Manila Health Department head, said the confiscated insect spray were Baolillai, Big Bai Pie and Butiki Killers, which were imported from China.
