ZAMBOANGA CITY: Three people were killed and another was wounded in an ambush in the restive province of Basilan in the Muslim autonomous region in Mindanao, police said on Tuesday.
Police said among the dead were two teachers—Rodolfo Saavedra and his wife Gloria—and the wounded has been identified by authorities as Ellen Cubico.
