Legendary cue masters Efren “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante along with Warren Kiamco will represent the Philippines in the Cue Sports International (CSI) Invitationals scheduled on July 18 to 25 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The fourth member of the Philippine team will be named next month.

They will compete against best players in Europe, North America and Asia in the tournament which features 10-Ball and 8-Ball events and has a prize money of $32,000 including $8,000 top purse.

The top finisher in each group will advance to the knockout stage.

The invited players in North America are Mike Dechaine, Shane Van Boening and Corey Deuel while Darren Appleton, Ralf Souquet and Thorsten Hohmann represent Europe.

The other Asians players are Pin-Yi Ko, Yu-Hsuan Chen and Jung-Lin Chang.

“The CSI has sent invitations to players selected not only for their proven skills and accomplishments, but also for the respect and dignity they display as professional pool players,” according to the organizing committee.
