Batangas hotel owner killed


The owner of Junction Inn Mansion Hotel in Brgy. Uno, Sto. Tomas, Batangas was shot dead on Monday morning at the hotel by an unidentified gunman who pretended to be a hotel guest, police said. Jussein San Juan, 36, of Ayala-Alabang Village in Muntinlupa City, and native of Tanauan, Batangas died in the hospital while being treated for gunshot wounds. Police said San Juan, was shot at close range with a .45 caliber pistol based on slug recovered from the crime scene. The suspect and his companion fled on a motorcycle following the shooting. The victim also owns several businesses like a jewelry store, a pawnshop, a gas station and a drive-in motel in Brgy. Pagaspas, Tanauan City.
