Batangas to have 6 legislative districts

BATANGAS: The people of Batangas will soon have 6 representatives in the lower house as the act declaring the cities of Lipa and Batangas as lone districts have been approved on its 3rd and final reading last June 1.

House Bill no. 3750 introduced by the 4 incumbent representatives of Batangas province, namely Cong. Raneo Abu, Cong. Mark Llandro Mendoza, Cong. Nelson P. Collantes and Cong. Elenita Milagros Ermita-Buhain were renamed as “An act reapportioning the province of Batangas into 6 legislative districts” in the Senate Committee Report 126 sponsored by Senator Fer-dinand Marcos Jr. and Senator Aquilino Pimentel 3rd.
