Internet action star Ramon Bautista proved that working together results in success as he and his team won all three rounds of the Mitsubishi Mirage Metro Challenge, which culminated at the Mall off Asia grounds on May 30.

The three-round Mitsubishi Mirage Metro Challenge pitted six celebrities who teamed up with college students to battle wits and brains for three weekends, as they went around the metropolis using the Mitsubishi Mirage G4.

The first round was held in Quezon City with several challenges being held in different parts of the Quezon Memorial Circle.  The second challenge was held at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, with the last round being staged at the Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay City.

Highlighting the fun, practicality, and functionality of the brand, the Mitsubishi Mirage Metro Challenge brought about various challenges that required skill, intelligence, automotive capabilities, and use of the stand out features of the Mitsubishi Mirage and Mirage G4.

During the challenge, the teams were provided with numerical coordinates, which they had to input into the Mirage G4’s GPS system. The GPS then guided the team to the challenge area where they are given tasks.  Points are awarded depending on how fast and accurate the tasks are completed.

All three rounds were won by Team Ramon, as his teammates gelled together to succeed in most of the challenges.

Forming Team Ramon was Bautista, Niko Franciso and Mary Juanne Antonette Pintado.

The other celebrity team leaders included beautiful actress Ellen Adarna; rock legend Rico Blanco; actor and singer Markki Stroem; volleyball superstar Gretchen Ho; and the lovely Cheats lead singer Saab Magalona.

The champion team took home P100,000 each with Bautista donating his winnings to the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda.

Second place went to Team Saab, with the non-celebrity teammates receiving P50,000 each.  Magalona donated her winning to The Francis Magalona Foundation.

Winning third overall place was Team Ellen, with her teammates taking home P30,000 each.  Ellen’s winnings were donated to the Precious Pearl Children’s Home.
