BCDA bids out 4,714 Heritage Park memorial lots

The state-owned Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) said on Wednesday it has invited bids for the block sale of Heritage Park Investment Certificates (HPIC), which is composed of 4,714 memorial lots and properties.

Heritage Park is located along C-5 in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig and is considered as the country’s premier memorial park.

“We are inviting interested firms to participate in the public tender of the said lots and properties,” BCDA President and Chief Executive Officer Arnel Paciano Casanova said.

He said the public tender for the lots and properties is on “as-is, where-is” basis and on cash sale basis.

Casanova said the minimum acceptable bid price for the HPICs is P430 million inclusive of VAT.

Of the 4,714 lots and properties, 3,580 are small plots. The inventory also includes estate lots, walled estate lots, garden lots, single columbary niches, and companion columbary niches.

BCDA Chairman for Asset Disposition Program Tomas Macrohon said interested bidders could purchase the Terms of Reference (TOR) for a non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand pesos at the BCDA Corporate Center, 2nd Floor Bonifacio Technology Center, 31st Street, corner 2nd Avenue, Bonifacio Technology Center from April 27 to May 22, 2015. The TOR may also be viewed at the BCDA website.

He said a Pre-Bid Conference will be held on May 8 at 10:00am to discuss the salient features and requirements of the TOR as well as other issues of interest to bidders.
