The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Swedish government and two private firms for possible tie-ups involving the Clark Green City (CGC) project.

The Swedish entities are IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, a foundation jointly owned by the Swedish government and industry; ElectriCITY, a non-profit organization composed of major companies operating in Sweden; and Xeric AB, a firm that specializes in providing business consultancy services for small and medium enterprises.
