BDO Unibank Inc. will shut down banking services and its automated teller machines (ATM) for seven hours from close to midnight on Monday, August 26 until early the
following day for maintenance works and upgrade.
August 25 is a public holiday in commemoration of National Heroes’ Day.
“The bank encourages its valued clients to do the transactions ahead of the scheduled maintenance to avoid any inconvenience,” BDO said in a statement.
BDO will pause operations from 11:30 p.m. of August 25 to 5 a.m. of August 26 and services affected include retail and corporate internet banking as well as phone banking and mobile banking.
BDO’s ATMs will not be available from 11:30 p.m. of August 25 to 6:30 a.m. of August 26.
“This is still in line with BDO’s continued pursuit to provide the clients and the general public with enhanced banking experience,” it added.
As of end-June, the Sy-led BDO has a total of 830 bank branches and 2,300 ATMs nationwide.
