Metro Manila’s beauty addicts came together in one roof to join the annual cosmetics and skincare fair of Rustan’s The Beauty Source. Dubbed “Beauty Addict: Neon,” the retro-themed party was held at Rustan’s Ayala Center Makati.

Spotted at the event were first timers Catriona Gray, Fatima Rabago, Mari Jasmine, Nicole Hernandez, Patty Laurel, Aryanna Epperson, Carla Humpries, and Ava Daza. Ruffa Gurierrez, Phoemela Barranda, and Bubbles Paraiso, who were also present last year, returned to join in the fun again this year.

Personalities and guests alike enjoyed the afternoon filled with games and activities courtesy of brands Chanel, Clarins, La Prairie, Sisley, NARS, Diptyque, Annick Goutal, Estee Lauder, Clinique, and La Mer to Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Guerlain, Hermes, Murad, Perricone, Lancome, M.A.C, L’Occitane, and Acca Kappa, among many others.

Chanel devotees received complimentary lip styling and a dainty sugar cookie of their choice, while lovers of the French brand Sisley got to try their hand at using Phyto Eye Twist eye shadows.

Skincare enthusiasts enjoyed with a memory game from Dermalogica and were able to take home personalized note cards with inspiring quotes from Dr. Murad’s book, “Creating a Healthy Life.”

Clarins created a beauty playlist with four stations to play on contour, pause early wrinkles, stop anti-aging and fast forward to slimming, and after collecting cards, they complete a song line and win one sample per station.

When navigating the counters, some relaxing and pampering was also in order. Guests over at L’Occitane get to chill and enjoy healthy concoctions by the organic juice bar. Of course, it’s not a beauty event if there are no makeovers.

A free Lip Pop application was in session over at the Clinique booth, while MAC was right on theme as they whip up quick neon infused makeover and glam shot photobooth sessions with the beauty addicts.

Aside from all the games and prizes, the night wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the makeup booth and a photoshoot with photographer Shaira Luna.

Performances like pixel poi and retro-themed dancers were partnered with DJ acts Jessica Connelly, the Zombettes, Nix Dam P, and to go along with that, Belvedere offered a free flowing drinks throughout the night to keep the excitement and event vibe lively.

The highlight of the event was the relaunch of the first beauty card in the Philippines, “Beauty Addict.” Guests got to take home their own membership card—now with more perks and privileges than ever before.

As per tradition, Rustan’s Beauty Addict won’t be complete without giving back. This year’s beneficiary is Philippine Red Cross to help with the recent calamities in the country by donatingP300 to each photograph taken by guests and uploaded at the event using the hashtag #RustansBeautyAddictGivesBack.
