San Beda College (SBC) and College of Saint Benilde (CSB) will clash in the first division of Ang Liga at the former’s home turf in Manila at 3 p.m. today.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association rivals, who are both preparing for their main tournament later in the year, will be disputing the No.3 spot.
Saint Benilde is currently No.3 with a record of four wins, two draws and two losses while San Beda is No.4 with a 4-1-2 win-draw-loss card.
Saint Benilde is on a roll in the final stretch of the elimination round after escaping University of the East (UE), 3-2, in their last match.
On the other hand, the Bedans are keen to go back into the winning column following their recent 1-0 loss against leading team University of the Philippines.
In the other match, the UE Red Warriors are out to claim their third win of the season as they play against fellow University Athletic Association of the Philippines club University of Santo Tomas (UST) at 1 p.m.
UE is at on the bottom half of the standings with five defeats, two wins and a draw while UST is No.5 with four victories, a draw and three losses.
Meanwhile, Malayan Colleges Laguna and Don Bosco Technical College will collide in the lone second division match at 8 a.m.
