Reigning University Athletic Association of the Philippines champion UP continued its dominance of the first division with a record of six wins, a draw and a loss for 19 points.

In their last outing, the Fighting Maroons escaped University of the East 2-1, through the brace performance of Daniel Saavedra.

Three teams with 13 points each are trailing behind the Diliman-based platoon namely San Beda, University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Ateneo de Manila University.

However, the Bedans hold a three-point advantage on goal difference with 10 markers against UST’s’ seven and the Ateneo’s five points.

On the other hand, San Beda Team B is sharing the lead with Far Eastern University (FEU) Team B with 18 points each in the second division.

The back-up team of the Red Lions has six wins and a loss in their card while having a one-point advantage on goal difference against FEU, which is unbeaten in six games.
