BEET Phils. Inc., a subsidiary of BEMAC-Uzushio Electric Co. of Japan, announced BEMAC Group President and Chief Executive Officer Masato Oda recently met Department of Energy Secretary Jericho Petilla and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Undersecretary Adrian Cristobal (also managing head of Board of Investments) to present the company’s first three-wheel electric vehicle.
BEET said the move is meant to prove that BEMAC is now ready for mass production and not just prototyping EVs.
