Belgium raises terrorist threat alert to highest level in Brussels

BRUSSELS:  The alert level of the terrorist threat has been raised to the highest level in the Belgian capital of Brussels, Prime Minister Charles Michel confirmed in his official Twitter account on Saturday.

This is the first time in Belgium that the terrorist threat alert has been raised to level four for a region, the television channel RTBF reported, saying it means that the threat is "serious and imminent".
