San Francisco-based, cosmetics company Benefit never stops providing women innovative and top-of-the-line yet simple and easy-to-use products.
In the past few months Benebabes from around the world—what Benefit fans are called—have seen and experienced the latest from the company as part of its Spring 2014 collection.
Just recently, it introduced Big Easy, a complexion perfector that beats all other double-letter creams; and Lollitint, the newest addition to the cheek and lip tints.
Just before April ended, Benefit Cosmetics Philippines rolled out the beauty label’s remaining products for the season of the sun. On April 24, brand manager Aubrey Bautista and digital and public relations executive Tasha Santos hosted an intimate media launch at Le Jardin restaurant in Bonifacio Global City.
Already available at all Benefit boutiques here, Santos first presented the Dream Screen, a high protection sunscreen that’s perfect for the rest of the summer season.
A first in the beauty scene, the Dream Screen is a silky-matte sunscreen making it appear invisible on the skin. Because it is also lightweight and oil- and fragrance-free, it is easily absorbed by the skin. All in all, the product effectively prevents aging as it protects against sun damage.
“Our Dream Screen also is our product with the highest SPF to date. It comes in SPF 45 PA+++ for a really broad spectrum,” Santos added.
For a silky-smooth and even finish, Dream Screen bottle comes in a “shake ball” applier.
Next on the line was Benefit’s hydrating tinted lip balms, or what is considered as the little sister of the brands iconic tints as its four shades in- clude Benebalm, Lol–libalm, Posiebalm and Chachabalm.
Wear alone on lips to moisturize and condition them, or glide on top of its tints for an added pop of color. Enriched with mango butter, the formula melts instantlyon lips for a smoother, softer pout. These lip hydrators will be available come June.
Last presented was Benefit’s new fragrance called Under my Spell Noelle. Part of the eu de toilette collection, the scent is mysterious and glamorous with an exotic blend of woody florals.
But wait there’s more as the two ladies also gave a glimpse of what to expect with Benefit come Fall 2014. In the coming months, Benebabes will see the launch of three new products including an age-defying serum, and a blush.
The last one, Bautista said, can’t be revealed as of the moment. “It is definitely Benefit’s biggest and most important product in the past few years,” she added.
Truly something that everyone must watch out for.
