• Benguet State U APPOINTS new president


    BAGUIO CITY: The Benguet State University (BSU) Board of Regents has named Dr. Feliciano Calora as the state university’s sixth president. Calora, who took his oath last week, served for 26 years at the BSU before transferring to the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD) of the Department of Science and Technology where he became the Forestry and Environment Division head. Prior to his new appointment, he was Dean of the College of Forestry and the vice president for Academic Affairs. Calora vowed to sustain, develop and provide strategies to enhance food security, quality education, gender equality, sustainable communities, industry innovation, responsive consumption, climate resilience, institutional development and partnerships during his term.
