Biliran branch is PCSO’s 61st arm


Another Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) branch was dedicated to the Filipino people in the Visayas region. It is the 61st PCSO branch facility in the country, 14th branch under the Visayas Department, and sixth branch in Region 8.

Located on the second floor of Naval Mall, Rosario, Naval, Biliran, the branch was inaugurated on November 24 by PCSO General Manager Alexander Balutan and Naval Mayor Gerard Espina, together with PCSO Assistant General Manager for Branch Operations Sector Remeliza Gabuyo. The blessing was officiated by Msgr. Marvin Maceda, who also witnessed the ribbon cutting signalling the opening of the branch office.

PCSO Biliran Branch offers services such as Lotto and Lotto Express Applicant and Agent’s Concern; Charity Services—IMAP Program, ASAP Program; and Prize Claims.

There are currently 29 Lotto and Lotto Express (Keno) outlets in the eight municipalities of Biliran, namely Almeria, Biliran, Cabucgayan, Caibiran, Culaba, Kawayan, Maripipi and Naval.

“Walang pinipili ang ahensiya sa pagtulong. Charity services of PCSO is for every Filipino who needs financial assistance with medical or health related problems. Ito ay kaugnay sa universal health care program ng Pangulo,” GM Balutan emphasized in his short message.
