Binay vows justice for SAF 44

VICE President Jejomar Binay has vowed to deliver justice to the families of the 44 Special Action Force (SAF) commandos who died in Mamasapano, Maguindanao province.

I give my word that wherever I am and to the best of my efforts, I will work to give justice to the 44 SAF heroes),” he added.

Binay said he understands the plight of the policemen and that he is one with them in calling for added benefits.

I understand that the salary and benefits of policemen are not enough. I can feel your needs in the face of dangers and threats that you face each day),” Binay said, adding that the sacrifices of policemen should be compensated by giving them more benefits and scholarships to their children.

As the government’s housing czar, Binay said he pushed for programs that members of the police can benefit from.

As the head of the housing sector, I am doing everything to provide policemen decent housing. I believe that under an effective government, those who protect the people should be given top priority)” he said.

However, he also reminded students and alumni of the PNPA to honor the memory of the Fallen 44 by maintaining professionalism and putting service above all.

  1. If Binay declares a parting of ways with pnoy in no uncertain terms now I might give him a bit of credit for his protestations about seeking justice for the SAF 44. But all of his posturing are really nothing but unadulterated epal for his run in 2016 at the expense of the dead SAF. It’s disgusting how these politicians binay and roxas and the rest of them including cayetano, trillanes, etc who are looking at the presidential polls continue to suck up on the misery of those who died and their relations just to get epal credits for their candidacy. I already resolved to boycott the next election with only the likes of these politicians to choose from.

Just get his money and run!
