In a statement, the bureau said that it has filed a criminal complaint against an estate administrator in Quezon City identified as Lorenza Huang for the violation of Sections 254 and 255 of the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997, or the Tax Code.
The BIR said that Huang allegedly attempted to evade or defeat tax, and allegedly failed to supply correct and accurate information in her income tax returns (ITR) for taxable years 2009 and 2010.
“The estimated aggregate tax liabilities of Huang amounted to P13.13 million for deficiency income tax covering taxable years 2009 and 2010, inclusive of surcharges and interests,” it stated.

Empleo is the sole proprietress of Consolacion Manpower Consultant Services, which is engaged in the business of manpower services. The firm is located at Poblacion Occidental, Consolacion, Cebu.
The BIR said that Empleo failed to pay the correct amount of taxes in 2005, thereby depriving the government of taxes due in the sum of P11.86 million, inclusive of surcharges and interests.
