• Bird blamed for airline flight scare

Flight 5J321 of Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) from Manila landed safely at Legazpi Airport on Tuesday after a few scary moments caused apparently by a bird that had smashed into the aircraft. No one was hurt during the incident, according to aviation authorities. During inspection, the flight crew noticed blood stains and bird feathers at the plane’s right wing. The plane was later cleared for takeoff and allowed to return to Manila. In January this year, a bird strayed into the propeller of a CEB plane that was preparing to land also at Legazpi Airport, forcing officials to ground the aircraft for seven hours.
