BLACKWATER posted its first victory after 14 games in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 40 Commissioners Cup by beating Philippine Cup champion San Miguel Beer, 80-77, on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum.
The expansion team of Dioceldo Sy banked on the talent of 6'11 naturalized import Marcus Douthit, who finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. Blackwater’s win-loss record improved to 1-3.
