Blaupunkt reenters PH with revitalized line of personal, car audio systems

A FAMOUS entertainment system has recently been reintroduced in the Philippines in order to provide quality audio systems for personal and car use.

Launched last week was Blaupunkt Phils.’s line of personal and car audio systems that, according to Blaupunkt Phils. President Edbert Tiu, are reliable and outstanding devices sold at competitive prices.

“What we stand for is the reliability and superb engineering of the brand. Our extensive lineup of car and personal audio is suited for the domestic market at a competitive price,” Tiu said.

Blaupunkt—which means “blue dot” in German—originated with Ideal, a Berlin-based radio-telephone and appliance factory that was founded in 1923. In the beginning, the factory produced headphones, which were marked with a blue dot as a sign that they had been quality-tested.

Soon, customers began to ask for the “blue-dot headphones,” and in 1938 the original symbol of quality became the Blaupunkt brand name. Since then, its products kept on innovating.

Its car audio system features devices designed to satisfy different requirements and to fill any installation dimensions. Powerful speakers, amplifiers and subwoofers promise maximum music enjoyment. The company’s current car radio generation features two new highlights; the New York 800 and the Toronto 410 BT. The Blue Magic sound range and the GTA special amplifiers are also new. Prices for the audio head unit starts at P7,500 and top at P30,000.

Tiu hinted that they would soon dish out a wider array of selections.

“Expect more from us in the coming months. The blue dot signifies quality and decades of research and development,” he said.
