Ateneo de Manila University and Far Eastern University (FEU) battle in the final rounds of eliminations of the 14th Ang Liga today at the San Beda College Football Field in Manila.
The game is at 11 a.m.
With just a game left in the preliminary round for both squads in the premier collegiate pre-season tournament, Ateneo and FEU are expected to push hard to secure a berth in the semifinal round.
The Blue Eagles will be looking to continue their momentum from their 6-1 victory against Lyceum of the Philippines University as they clash against their fellow University Athletic Association of the Philippines club.
Ateneo currently holds a record of five victories, a draw and two losses for a total of 16 points in the first division of the collegiate football meet.
On the other hand, the Tamaraws also starred in a lopsided win in their previous match after handing University of Batangas a 9-1 beating last October 15.
FEU has three wins together two defeats and three draws for a total of 12 points in their card.
De La Salle Araneta University will be playing Don Bosco Technical College at 7 a.m. followed by the clash between Malayan Colleges Laguna and FEU reserves at 9 a.m. in the second division.
