Bon Iver, Death Cab for Cutie headline ‘Wanderland 2016’


The annual music and arts festival, Wanderland is gearing up for another musical fete with this year’s anticipated line-up of international and local talents.

Opening tomorrow, March 5, festival presenter Globe has put together a catch-up Spotify play list—#GlobeWanderland2016—of the featured artists, headlined by Manila first-timer Bon Iver and Filipino alternative rock favorite Death Cab for Cutie.

Wanderland 2016 is produced by Karpos Multimedia, and shines the spotlight on international indie bands alongside homegrown indie acts on the same stage to cater to a diaspora of music tastes.

Besides Iver and Death Cab for Cutie, festival-goers can look forward to winning performances by Kiwi electronic group The Naked And Famous; Australian indie pop band San Cisco; and other international acts including electronic duo Panama; Blackbird Blackbird; Chad Valley and Commandeur. Talented Filipino artists will also take over Wanderland with Crwn + Jess Connelly, Curtismith, Cheats, Jensen And The Flips, and the Wanderband 2016 victor, Oh, Flamingo.

Interactive activities, and will also be available via “Globe Galaxy,” an all-in-one interactive hub made up of seven planets: Zero Gravity, Lifestyle Odyssey, Movie Planetarium, Space Race, Astro Rocks, GCash Vortex, and The Transporter
