Food on the table, complete family on Noche Buena

Food on the table and a complete family on Christmas Eve is what Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is wishing for.

“Nothing is more joyful for every Filipino family than to be complete and eating together during the Noche Buena [Midnight Meal]. This is what a fulfilling Christmas is and this is my wish for all of us,” Marcos said in a statement.

At the same time, he has urged the government and the business sector to help fulfil in every home the Noche Buena tradition this Christmas by keeping the prices of food products commonly served during the midnight feast within reach of consumers.

The senator also called on the Department of Transportation and Communications to make sure that the Metro Rail Transit 3 and Light Rail Transit Line 1 and LRT Line 2 are operating properly without any trouble so that their passengers will be able to get home in time for the Noche Buena.

    1. Apo Bong Bong, you should have shared some of your family wealth to the needy Filipino families that cannot even afford to buy foods for their Noche Buena. You should have set-up give away stations to most of the depressed areas throughout the country. Spending small amount of your fortune to enlighten these very poor Filipinos are the least you could have done. It is like giving back some of the Blessings that you and your family have accumulated though the years.

    2. There should be food giveaway stations. Since the candidates use this campaign technique to donate foods when there are calamities then why not do it now on these christmas days.
